Jaclyn MacKinnon is a resident of Ahualoa on the Hamakua Coast just up the hill from historic Honokaa Town. On a 20-acre off-grid farm, she’s honed her country girl skills, raising a bit of everything from mushrooms to livestock to grapes.
Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Jaclyn came to Hawaii in 2005 as an exchange student with UH-Hilo’s geology program. Her love for Hawaii was born during that year and now, through her work in real estate, she enjoys sharing that passion with others who are seeking to move to the Big Island.
